ABOUT

“I’ve spent my career studying both art and people.

For nearly three decades I’ve worked as a professional artist while also earning a master’s degree in art therapy.  That combination taught me something valuable – that great paintings don’t simply fill walls.  They become part of how people experience their homes.

Today I create contemporary abstract paintings for collectors and interior designers who are looking for original artwork with presence, sophistication and emotional resonance.”

STATEMENT

My painting is inspired by many things: music, the ocean, a beautiful Italian vista. These things as much as the lives of such artists as Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, Swedish painter and theophist Hilma af Klint and American Abstract Expressionist Joan Mitchell, all encourage me to create and evolve and never settle. My life is similarly inspired by my husband, by my sons, and by my travels with hopes to continue to learn and grow as an individual, always knowing I have yet to reach my highest potential.
