“She Made Wind Chimes” featured in Sacrosanct

I’m grateful to the curators at Sacrosanct Gallery this month for selecting one of my paintings “She Made Wind Chimes,” an homage to my late Grandmother Alma – for their online exhibition called “Drawing Nature.” My grandmother used to make wind chimes from driftwood and sea shells she found while beach combing the shores of Sanibel Island, FL in the 1970’s. As she drew from nature, she taught me the beauty in the simplicity of working with your hands and how making things could be an incredibly joyous activity.
